Containment policy against SWINE-ORIGIN INFLUENZA A/H1N1

Any individuals who developed influenza-like symptoms (fever, fatigue, headaches, muscle aches, runny nose, etc) within 10 days of their return from the reported countries or districts with swine-origin influenza epidemic are instructed to call the Public Health Center located at each ward in Tokyo. The telephone number of the Shinjuku-ward Public Health Center is 03-5273-3836 (Opening hours: 9 AM to 5 PM), and 03-5320-4509 (Opening hours: 5 PM to 9 AM). Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare is also available (Phone: 03-3501-9031, 10 AM to 6 PM). Currently, Keio University Hospital has no consultation desk for swine-origin influenza.
